Worm Gear Butterfly Valve
The wormgear butterfly valve is simple in structure, small in size and light in weight, and is composed of only a few parts. And it can be quickly opened and closed by rotating 90°, the operation is simple, and the valve has good fluid control characteristics.
For application in HVAC systems, butterfly valves are recommended as shut off valve in closed water circulating piping system, e.g chillers, pumps, AHUs, cooling towers, etc. Worm gear type is recommended for above DN150 (6″).
