Vertical Type Electric-Hydraulic Coastal Marine Capstan 

Marine Mooring capstan, as the name indicates, is the capstan used for boat mooring when it reaches to a port or a dock. It has the same function as mooring winch. Mooring capstan also used for boat anchoring.

It’s advised to choose the suitable mooring rope material according to strength, elasticity, durability and operating performance, cable is suggested for large ship and synthetic fiber rope for medium and small ships. According to material and diameter of the rope, mooring capstans can be designed and produced to suit different types of ships. Bollard is cast or welded pile firmly installed on deck to fasten one end mooring rope, and there are single-post bollard and double-post bollard according to ship mooring needs.

The vertical drum is also called capstan head; its size depends on the pull load and diameter of rope to use on it, so if you have no idea about the dimension of the capstan head, pls just inform the pull and diameter of rope, it would be help for us to choose suitable drum.

This capstan can adopt electric or hydraulic drive.

Configurations are vertically mounted.

Warping head of the capstan uses cast steel.

Rated pull of the 1st layer can reach from 3MT to 15MT.

Max wire speed of this capstan winch is 18m/min.
