ISO13776 Pedestal Fairlead is a type of ship's mooring fitting installed on board to lead and change the direction of mooring ropes, which is same as DIN81907 pedestal fairlead. The actual SWL of the ISO13776 pedestal fairlead on board shall be determined by considering the under deck reinforcement. The actual SWL of the ISO13776 pedestal fairlead shall not be over the SWL indicated in this International Standard.
ISO13776 Pedestal fairleads are available in different roller diameters and support foundations heights to fit all kind of vessels.
Depending on the rollers on the top, the ISO13766 pedestal fairleads shall be classified as three types, which is same as the ISO13755 warping rollers or steel rollers. For the foundation of the pedestal fairleads, there are normally cylindrical pedestal and conical pedestal. Besides those, other options such as square or customized pedestals according to the requirement of clients are available.
