Hydraulic Double Gypsy Anchor Windlass is one of the most important deck machinery. It is driven by hydraullic motor and used for engaging and lowering the anchors with chain. It is equipped with double warping head and it has two gypsy wheels. The gearbox is made as closed; compared with open gearbox, closed gearbox is as safe as the open gearbox.

Above type is a double anchor windlass which driven by hydraulic, double gypsy is symmetrical, they are in same main shaft, this double anchor windlass include double gypsy, main frame, transmission gear, hydraulic motor, hydraulic pumps, oil tank, oil pipe, valves etc.

Notice: When a vesse is going to use a double gypsy windlass, should confirm the distance between centre of the gypsy before producing. And if the distance is too long, could consider using two sets of single gypsy windlass, one left type while another one right type.
