Waterfall winch consists of two or triple drums that are in waterfall arrangement. It can be designed for different purposes, such as mooring, towing, positioning, anchor handling based on custom requirements. The winch in waterfall type is normally designed with spooling devices to improve rope winding on the drum. Waterfall type electric marine winch is widely used in places where heavy work and traction are required. The motor of the electric winch is driven by the reducer, and the brake is fitted between the motor and the reducer input shaft. In order to meet the needs of lifting, traction and rotation operations, as well as double reel and multi-roll device marine winch.
Automatic towing winches are mostly set on marine tugs. When the fleet sails in a rough sea, the towing rope is subjected to severe shocks.
