How to repair damaged ship collision pads?
Firstly, you need equipment and tools
Brush, automatic heater, grinder, wire, gasoline (92 # or above), repair material (rubber sheet, rubber curtain fabric), zigzag repair bracket, jack (10-20T), 200 * 300mm container (bucket or basin), scissors.
Secondly, the adhesive mixture
Cut the rubber sheet of the repair material into pieces with scissors, place it in a container, pour in a certain proportion of gasoline (the volume of gasoline is higher than the two fingers of the rubber sheet), let it stand for 15-20 minutes, and stir with a wooden or iron stick. Then add a certain amount of gasoline until the rubber plate and gasoline in the container dissolve into a liquid state. It is normal to have some fastening material at the bottom of the container.
Thirdly, the mouth bracket
According to the degree of damage to the ship's collision pad and the size of the fender, some sizes use channel steel or steel plate or rail welding interface brackets. The degree of damage to the fender can cause it to reach the middle position of the mouthpiece.
Fourth, repair methods
Use a sanding machine to clean the damaged area of the repaired fender, use a brush to remove any residue, then flatten the fender and apply glue.
2. According to the size of the overlap, place the repair material (hanging rubber curtain) horizontally and vertically, and place the outer layer in the mudguard so that it can be applied to the middle of the rubber sheet (pure rubber sheet) and brushed with glue.
3. Place the heating plate on the repair material, place the jack on the heating plate, and then lift the jack to the top of the nozzle holder.
4. Press the jack until it is pressed by hand.
5. Turn on the power, activate the start button on the control cabinet, and start maintenance.
When the temperature reaches, the heating device automatically stops. After stopping, the temperature of the heating plate rises and then drops below 80, and the repair is completed.
7. Remove the jack and heating plate, and then repeat the above steps to repair the damaged fender.
